The SSME Doctoral Symposium seeks to bring together PhD students working on topics in service science, management and engineering and give them the opportunity to present and to discuss their research with researchers and practitioners in the SSME community.
The symposium aims to provide a constructive atmosphere whereby students receive feedback on their research and guidance on future directions.
The symposium is intended for students who have not yet completed their dissertation research. Students will be asked to submit an abstract of their research prior to the event. Selected students will be asked to make a short presentation to the Doctoral Panel.

9.00am | Keynote Speaker: A company perspective of SSME research |
10.00am | Poster Session: Doctoral Students explain their research to academic and company participants. (Note abstracts submitted by students will be converted into posters by the conference organisers) |
11.30am | Plenary session: review/evaluation of Posters |
12.00pm | Lunch |
1.00pm | Doctoral Panels: A number of parallel Doctoral Panels where selected students present their work to a panel of academics and industrials and get feedback |

Registration
There is no charge for this event, but registration is essential. Deadline September 1st.
Students must arrange their own overnight accommodation. Dinner on the evening of the 18th and lunch on the 19th will be provided free of charge.
