Univeristy of Manchester
England
22nd April 2009
Lecture Hall B10, Manchester Business School East, Booth Street East
The Centre for Service Research at Manchester Business School first came into being almost one year ago and now encompasses over thirty full time faculty members drawn from both business and engineering disciplines. The Centre plays a leading role in the UK SSME1 agenda, bringing together business, universities and government to address the growing needs for research and teaching focused on the service economy; and positions itself among the foremost service research centres in Europe.
The purpose of the launch is to raise awareness of business, universities and government to the research achievements and objectives of the Centre, to obtain stakeholder views of the areas requiring priority attention, and to examine ways in which we might collaborate for mutual benefit.
